Supporting Health and Wellbeing as Seasons Change

As we move from summer towards autumn, BVUK Blackburn encourages the community to focus on health and wellbeing.

The transition between seasons can sometimes impact our health and routines. It's a good opportunity to review personal health practices, including diet, exercise, and mental wellbeing. Simple changes can make a significant difference to overall health. Local health services, including GPs and pharmacies, are key resources for general health advice and seasonal vaccinations. We encourage everyone, especially elders and those with underlying health conditions, to ensure they are up to date with recommended preventative care. Maintaining social connections and engaging in community activities can also play an important role in mental wellbeing. BVUK Blackburn continues to support community cohesion through various initiatives and encourages members to stay connected.
